Dragon Mine (A Hidden Novella)

Dragon Mine - Jaime Rush To be honest, I am still very up in the air with the whole "novella before the series starts" trend that I am seeing, but with the two that I have read lately, the books have seemed to launch a series with great potential... so maybe I should sit back and keep my mouth shut about it!

Kirin is a Dragon shifter and a part of the world of the Crescents - a paranormal world that coexists alongside our own. Because of the mystical force that gives Dragons their power that exists under the Bahamas, most Dragons congregate in Miami, which is where Kirin once lived. But because of a love affair gone horribly wrong, Kirin made a break from his past, his family, and the very soil that feeds his energy and moved to Atlanta. But when his father mysteriously disappears, he finds himself on the way home again to try and help his sister solve the mystery of his father's disappearance. When he arrives, he has to let loose his Dragon and does so in a familiar place - the abandoned factory warehouse of his lost love Elle.
