The Window Seat on a Rainy Day

When you have a whole series of books that are based on a bunch of people from two families time traveling back and forth to the middle ages, you may start to get a little repetitive in the plots. Someone goes to the past, meets someone, debates where to live (past or future)...It could get repetitive. But not with Lynn Kurland! With the book, With Every Breath, she takes that formula and shakes it up but good! And this is one of my very favorite Lynn Kurland books! :)

Sunshine Philips moved from Seattle to Scotland after her sister married Patrick MacLeod. There, on MacLeod land, Sunny has found a haven of sorts. True, she is surrounded by breathtakingly handsome Scottish men, all of whom are very happily married, but she can handle that. She just likes the peace of hearing the rain fall on the roof while she sits in front of her fire. Until one night, Robert Cameron Mac Cameron knocks on her door and whisks her off to heal his brother. It takes her a few minutes, but soon she realizes that not only has Cameron whisked her away from her warm fire, but he has whisked her into the past. Into his past, where his clan is turning against him and he is terrified that he can't keep her safe.
