Noah (Nightwalkers, Book 5)

Noah - Jacquelyn Frank Honestly, for a while, this was the Nightwalker book I was waiting for. I loved the noble Noah from the beginning. This book had a lot of expectations riding on it.

Noah is the Demon King and the most powerful Fire Demon ever to live. As his closest friends and family have found their mates, it is clear that Noah has started to feel a little lonely and left out. But being a powerful demon, being left out of the "love" loop means more than just being a little lonely. The older Noah gets, the harder it is for him to control his base instincts and control himself on the feast days of Beltane and Samhain. The longer he goes without his mate, the more likely it will be that he will shame himself by losing control. Desperate to prevent that from happening, he turns to Corrine. Kane's mate Corrine is a Druid who has the ability to find a demon's mate for them. She is a matchmaker of sorts. But when she finds Noah's mate, it is too late. They watch Kestra as she is mortally wounded and there is nothing that Noah can do to save her. His mate is lost to him forever.
