To All the Rakes I've Loved Before (A Honeycote Novella)

And so each chapter of To All The Rakes I've Loved Before begins - with a small entry of Amelia’s pretend gossip paper, giving some hint to what the chapter would hold. I loved it. It’s been a while since I read portions of a book to my husband… he got an ear-full with this one!
Amelia Wimple no longer left her home, at least not at fashionable hours. She never went out to call or accepted visitors ever since a fateful evening at a ball two years past. Amelia waited patiently with her high strung mother for her soon-to-be fiancé to arrive at the ball; however, what she got instead was a note informing her that he wasn’t going to marry her. The situation was made worse when her almost-fiancé’s best friend, Lord Brookes, broke the news that he had eloped.
