The Window Seat on a Rainy Day

I love Linda Lael Miller but where are my McKettrick’s and Creed’s at? I’m really trying hard to like her new Parable, Montana series and while book five, Big Sky Wedding, was better than book four, I’m still struggling with liking the series. I really miss reading the author I’ve come to love.

We met our Heroine, Brylee Parrish in Big Sky Mountain when the hero of that book, Hutch Carmody, jilts her at the wedding alter. Brylee who owns a 31 like company obviously does not handle this rejection well considering Hutch is all over town with his new wife. Needless to say I was excited to see her finally get her HEA. Enter our hero A-list actor, Zane Sutton, who retires from acting to get back to his ranching roots. He decides he is going to make a go of the ranch in Parable he bought with his brother, Landry. Brylee runs into Zane and immediately dislikes him off the bat misjudging him as a want to be rancher who won’t last very long in Montana. Zane attracted to her right does his best to prove her wrong.
