In general, the hardest books to find are good Fantasy Romances. Yes, you can find a lot of post-apocalyptic or Space fantasies, but the good old fashioned kind are few and far between. When I find one, I try to really get the word out so that the good ones get their due!Carina McKay is the illegitimate daughter of a king. Though he doesn't give Carina the rights due her station, he expects her to always act in the manner of a princess. She gets the responsibility, but not the perks. As a result, her father has forbidden her her one love - the Critons. These beasts are giant dragon like creatures that she seems to have the ability to communicate with and they provide her both companionship and comfort in a world that she doesn't feel she fits into. When her sister is supposed to be engaged to a King, it is Carina that captures Marek's eye and it is Carina that he decides to marry leaving her spoiled sister quite bitter with both Carina and Marek.
