The Window Seat on a Rainy Day

I am usually not a big fan of the Christmas story, but I have to say that despite that, I didn't mind having to read Never Desire a Duke - it was an unexpected pleasure!

Sophia and Vane are a typical Regency couple. They married and now they live apart. Vane made a mistake in their marriage and broke Sophia's heart, but he has returned from his escapades and is determined to correct his mistake and win back his wife. Though Sophia has always loved Vane, she - rightfully so I might add - no longer trusts him and the battle of wills begins where two lovers have to find a way to overcome their past and move toward a future they thought they had lost.
