Born of Shadows (The League, #4)

Born of Shadows - Sherrilyn Kenyon Sometimes, the audiobook really can surpass the story itself. This isn't one of them. Both the audio and the story are top notch and this was a pleasure to read AND listen to!

As a smuggler, Caillen Dagan has tried his best to stay out of the politics of the United Systems. His best friends and family members may be politically inclined, they may be the power brokers of the systems, but he is content just to make ends meet and to keep his two trouble making sisters out of trouble as much as possible. When he takes the rap for his sister's latest screw up, Caillen is imprisoned. This one event changes his life. He has always lived his life off the grid, but arrest puts him on the grid and he is discovered as the missing prince of a system that is one of the most prosperous in the universe. Thanks to his friends Darling and Maris, he adjusts to his new life as much as he can, but at his heart, he knows that he isn't royalty. But for the sake of the father that clearly loves him for who he is, he does his best to fit in.
