Bayon & Jean-Baptiste (Bayou Heat #3-4)

Bayon & Jean-Baptiste (Bayou Heat #3-4) - Alexandra Ivy, Laura Wright This series is right up my alley. I love the pace of these books, nothing lags, no time for any of the tedium that some books get when they over describe scenes just to fill space. We get up close and personal with Bayon and Jean-Baptiste, as the cliff hanger from books 1 & 2 continues.

Bayon was a Hunter. He had been put in charge of finding the infiltrators of the Wildlands and those who attacked Ashe, Raphael’s mate, who is pregnant with his cub. Following the trail, he found a house that the infiltrators had been in and a female prisoner in a cage in the attic. Keira had been kept a prisoner by humans for some unknown reason. They were always moving her, and she had given up trying to figure out how long she had been held or how many places she had been kept. She was Pantera, a Puma shifter, and her captors had somehow depleted her power so she wasn’t able to escape.
